Business Analyst

 A young software development company with exciting ideas, based out of Toronto and Dhaka looking for Business Analyst. They develop innovative products using modern technologies to create essential value for the customer. The analytical, technical and management expertise of the team is capable of tackling challenges to provide elevated outputs, while ensuring integrity and usability. • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential business opportunities & assess market viability for the new business plan. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements & develop a deep understanding of stakeholder needs. 
• Analyze and evaluate market trends, competitor landscape, & customer preferences to identify key insights & opportunities.
• Perform financial analysis, including cost-benefit analysis, revenue projections, & return on investment calculations, to assess the financial feasibility & potential profitability of the new business plan. 

• Develop detailed business cases & feasibility studies to support decision­ making & secure necessary resources for the new business plan.
•  Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, & deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall business goals. 
• Facilitate workshops & meetings to elicit requirements, gather feedback, & foster effective communication among project stakeholders. 
• Create & maintain project documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, & user stories.
•  Support the project management team in defining project timelines, milestones, & resource allocation.
• Monitor & track project progress, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies to ensure successful project implementation.
•  Provide regular status updates & reports to senior management & stakeholders, highlighting key findings, insights, & recommendations. 
• Collaborate with the sales & marketing teams to develop marketing strategies, pricing models, & go-to-market plans for the new business plan.
•  Support the implementation phase by providing guidance to operational teams, assisting with user acceptance testing, & ensuring successful knowledge transfer.
•  Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, & best practices related to the new business plan, & proactively provide recommendations for continuous improvement. 

Job Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics or a related field. A Master's or MBA degree is preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of work experience in Business Research or in a similar analytical field.
• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. 
• Solid understanding of market research methodologies & business analysis techniques.
  
• Proficiency in financial modeling & analysis.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong interpersonal skills & the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies & tools.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. 

Experience Requirements 

• Minimum 5+ years of work experience in Business Research or in a similar analytical field. 

Educational Requirements 

 Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, Economics or a related field.A Master's degree is preferred.
