A. Major Responsibilities:

Under the guidance of the WHO Team Lead IVD and the direct supervision of Data Manager the incumbent will have to perform the activities to support EPI Programme as described below:

1.      Assist to organize, compile and maintain paper-based or soft version of the VPDs, AEFI and Active Surveillance data through routine and other ad-hoc data from different sources for future reference.

2.      Ensure data entry in computerized databases (customized software) as well as in DHIS2 of the above-mentioned surveillance and other ad-hoc data required for the program and maintain electronic database with data integrity in timely manner and backup.

3.      Assist to review databases for errors and take necessary actions for corrections as and when needed (Changes and errors might include key-entry or format errors and duplicate entries) to maintain high quality data.

4.      Maintain and update tracking system for erroneous reports, missing information, late submission of reports, use log sheet and provide feedback to the surveillance network for necessary corrective action.

5.      Assist to create GIS based mapping for EPI and MIS.

6.      Assist to migrate data to different reporting tools for preparing mapping/report and provide support to draft correspondence in Bangla & English.

7.      Any other task assigned by the supervisor

B.    Required Qualifications: 

Education:

Minimum bachelor’s degree in Geography, Computer Science, Statistics, Social Science or Related field.

Experience:

Minimum two years data entry and Management experience in the Health programme.

Computer Literacy :

Proficient of using computer application software’s: MS – Office (World, Excel, Power point) and

Knowledge about handling Electronic device like Computer, Tab. 

C.    Consultancy Fee:

Monthly salary:  Each Data cum GIS Assistant will get BDT 46,289/per month.
